My experience with Kathryn was life changing. Her ability to listen deeply, use positive and supportive language that challenged my thought patterns in a non-threatening way encouraged me to question my authentic self and probe deep down into my psyche to ask myself: am I truly happy? Of course I have asked myself this question before but the way in which Kathryn conversed with me in such a positive way allowed me to relax and let down my defences and the thought that I have to be perfect, when in fact all I have to do is be true and honest. I know that my relationship with Kathryn is only beginning and I feel that she will continue to question me in not only my personal life but my professional one as well. From the bottom of my heart, thank you Kathryn as I believe that you have helped save my marriage! I am eternally grateful and I will be speaking and sharing your story to my friends and family.

I had the pleasure of meeting Kathryn through a mutual friend. I had been looking for some nutritional guidance and Kathryn kindly invited me to chat with her about my challenges. Our conversation was excellent food for thought and she helped me get to a healthy place of setting a small realistic goal that I felt confident I could achieve, which set me up for success right from the start. She encouraged me to stay accountable to my goal by sending her a short message each day whether I had success. But most importantly she taught me not to be so harsh on myself with judgement if I wasn’t able to reach my goal each day. It’s been a great stepping stone to a healthier me. A very positive experience so far!

It is both a balancing act and an art form: blending just the right amount of strength, courage, power and grace to be able to complete 17 Ironman triathlons… and counting! A remarkable accomplishment that reflects the deepest of commitments to reaching an intended outcome. As an athlete, Kathryn is a star!
Now, add to that compassion and a great sense of humour, and you start to get a sense of what you can expect when Kathryn walks with you through your challenges. I’ve witnessed the magic as her honesty and clarity create the safe space that invites another to reclaim more of their own deep, inner truth to reclaim ’star’ for themselves, in their lives!

“You are the one who has gently led me towards trying to have an open/honest discussion. I know I can be quite difficult to lead at times so if you can lead me you can lead anyone. You back off when you see it isn’t the time to push me and you gently ask me to look into my reactions and I can come back to them when I am ready and that is why you make an ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC COACH. With the combination of your questions and very accepting manner people are able to open up. Keep on being you. It’s the best gift you have.”

When Kathryn asked if I would be interested in a kitchen makeover I thought “Sure, why not” my kitchen could use a good clean out.” What I did not realize was the impact it would have on my life. The process of cleaning out my cupboards went so much deeper. With each clean I discovered something new about mySELF.
When we cleaned out the fridge, and there were lots to get rid of, and I saw what it looked like after…not really much in it, I had a massive surge of “I can’t take care of myself.” WOWZA, I had not realized I had associated my ‘full fridge’ with the notion of being able to take care of myself. Then onto the pantry. Being able to see all that I had and needed…not more than what I needed was startling.
I did not know I was buying groceries as a just in case. Just in case this person drops in because they don’t eat xxx or just in case I decide to have a dinner party I need everything possible. It never dawned on me I could just go to the grocery store when I needed. Which led to the discovery of needing to be prepared. For everything.
The entire process of the kitchen makeover was really a process of me discovering layers of information that had been buried deep inside just waiting for the clutter to be removed. The process shifted how I shop, and, more importantly, I am more mindful of checking in and getting rid of the expired beliefs/values and attitudes I tend to carry.
